2022 Annual Letter

Trotwood Manor West

Neighborhood Association

Annual Letter

June 2022

Dear Neighbor,

We hope this letter finds you well. As summer quickly approaches, we would like to take a moment to provide an update on neighborhood news and events.

If you are new to the neighborhood, welcome! This association includes the following streets: Glencairn Circle, Harrogate, Harvester Circle, Little Meadow, Miranda, Trotwood Ridge, Trotwood West and Westgate. Together, we make up the Trotwood Manor West Neighborhood Association. Becoming a member is purely voluntary and requires just a $25 annual fee. You don’t have to have children to be part of the neighborhood association! The purpose of this organization is to foster community spirit and pride through the organization of social events and other neighborhood activities, as well as assist in the maintenance of the neighborhood walls.

Board Participation

The board is in need of some new members! Veteran board members will help to guide those who are interested in stepping into an active role. Elisa is willing to stay on as the treasurer and Tracy is willing to continue maintaining the website. It would be helpful to have one or two more members who can commit to coordinating events and helping with communication. Most of these things are already outlined and fairly simple to take on, so the time commitment to serving on the board is minimal. The more of us that come together, the stronger our association and community relationships will be! Even volunteering to coordinate a single event, such as the Block Party, Flamingo Fridays, the Egg Hunt, etc. would help us to keep things running. Our Light Up Night came about thanks to neighbors, Amanda and Shelby, stepping up in this way.

Wall Maintenance

In an effort to keep the entrance to our community looking good, we are hosting our first ever Neighborhood Cleanup Day. Please see the attached flier for more information.

Neighborhood Events

We would love to try out some new locations in the neighborhood! Hosting this low-key event is easy and you don’t have to open your home (or bathroom) since it’s entirely outdoors! Please let us know if you would consider hosting one evening. No out of pocket cost is necessary.

Neighborhood Directory

Did you know we had a neighborhood directory? To have access to the directory page, you will need to sign-in through the Trotwood Manor West Neighborhood Association website ( When you first create an account, it will require approval by a board member. This is purely to keep the information in the directory only accessible to our neighbors. If your information has changed, please let us know so we can make the necessary updates.

New Neighbors

The pandemic really took a hit on our ability to balance our commitment to the Board with, well, everything else. Please accept our apologies if we missed you moving into our neighborhood during these complicated times. We’re usually a lively neighborhood and very much hope to meet you at our summer events! This coming year should bring back the fun events of years past and provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy our awesome neighborhood.
